The debut album by Yoan #1 in sales in Quebec FOR THE 4TH WEEK IN A ROW!
Montréal, Wednesday, April 21, 2015 – For the fourth week running, Yoan is #1 in the album sales charts in Quebec! The big winner of La Voix II, Quebec’s version of The Voice, already received a platinum certification, only 3 weeks after his album was released.
Productions J has already made available to radio stations in English Canada Baby What You Want Me to Do, the first single in English from Yoan’s album. Written by Jimmy Reed in 1959, the song has been covered by many iconic artists including The Everly Brothers, Neil Young and even Elvis Presley. Indeed, the song is already successful on the Quebec airwaves, collecting one Success of the Week and two Strong Reaction mentions on the ADISQ charts.
Yoan’s debut album features collaborations from his coach on La Voix, Isabelle Boulay, as well as rising Canadian country star Brett Kissel, who both perform memorable duets with Yoan: J’entends siffler le train, the French adaptation of 500 Miles by Hedy West, and Good Hearted Woman, the classic by Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.
