Montreal, Wednesday, October 28, 2015 – After a trip to Nashville and many performances on varied Canadian stages (Toronto, Fredericton, Moncton, Halifax, and soon Edmonton), Yoan is actively preparing his Montreal premiere. This grand event will take place at the Bell Centre, on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 8PM. Yoan will then become the youngest Quebecer artist to perform a solo show in the Canadiens’ home! Tickets will be on sale on Saturday, October 31, at 10AM.

With already over 120,000 albums sold, a Platinum record, a nomination at the ADISQ Gala, and a CCMA Award (Top Selling Canadian Album of the Year), Yoan is shaking up the Canadian country industry. Having stayed on top of the Canadian sales chart for three consecutive weeks, the whole country quickly discovered the young artist. In fact, influent music blogs wrote positive articles like: “Quebec is not exactly known to be a hotspot for country singers, but that may be about to change with Yoan.” (Roman Mitz – MusicExpress.ca)

WHAT THEY ARE SAYING

“…a folk, blues, and country evening, a prime trio that finds all its strength in the unique and rich range of his voice.”

Linda Corbo – Le Nouvelliste

Yoan, country’s modern face.”

Pénélope Clermont – La revue de coeur et d’action

“While Yoan sings, we feel that country music found the fountain of youth.”

Yanik B. Lessard, EnBeauce.com

Yoan got on stage with a surprising confidence”

Elisabeth Lepage-Boly – Showbizz.net

« Yoan did a great job opening the show with his blend of original songs  and classic covers that featured his super deep voice » – The Reviews are In

« For only being 20 years old, he’s got a confidence and maturity about him.  It’s nice to see a young artist who still plays old country such as Waylon Jennings, CCR, and Johnny Cash. » – Candid Toronto

« First look at this guy, you think, good look’n guy, but normal in many ways, then he sings and your jaw drops and your ears thank you for one of, if not the best voice I’ve ever heard. » – Live in Limbo
